Here are three applications for peel-out cards within the NHS.

Local membership card
A PCT launches a ‘membership’ card programme to all people registered with a GP. The idea is that holders of the membership card will play a greater part in how NHS money is spent and how services are provided.A4 letter – 100gsm laser bond with 54mm x 85mm laminated peel-out cardPCT lasers the letter + card and mails out to the applicant

Alert cards
These cards are issued to patients with a condition that needs to be made known in the case of any urgent medical treatment. A COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) alert card contains information about how oxygen should be used to treat the patient. Another example would be a ‘red cell antibodies’ card.A4 – DL size carrier – 135-190gsm boardWith 54mm x 85mm cardSupplied as a peel and flip card or as a standard peel-out card
