| Client:
London Print Broker specialising in councils
Job: Poll Cards for European Parliamentary Elections. Each polling card is personalised with the voter’s name and has a map showing the location of that particular person’s polling station. Problem: This job involved complex data manipulation: there were 63
polling stations for 128,000 constituents and the key task was to match
each voter to the right polling station and the map. |
Client: Printer based in Dublin Job: Photocard application form: Problem: “I’ve tried more than a dozen printers and no one could do this job as it’s a bit of an oddball and not a large quantity”, was the opening gambit from the printer. It was also time critical for his customer. Solution: We took on the job, produced it entirely in-house and delivered
on time. We understand the service level you want to give your customers. |
Client: A Colour Printer Job: Product reordering cards for a chain of 300 stores. The cards are hung on display racks to give reordering details when stocks run out. Problem: The problem was that the end-user wanted
only 300 of each card – one
for each store – and he has 35 product lines making a total of
10,500 cards Solution: We lasered each of the 35 sorts, meaning no wasted paper and plate costs, then die cut the euroslot on our Dimuken and sheeted the cards to size. |
Client: Print Distributor Job: 40,000 PIN mailers. The Distributor quoted a 4pt insert mailer which had been used for 5 years – Service suggested a 3pt peel-a-part mailer which was 35% cheaper! Problem: The end user was still concerned whether it would work as well as the insert mailer. Solution: Service produced a test pack of 250 forms to customer requirements free of charge. The end user loved the forms and the order was repeated 6 months later. |
Client: Print Management Company Job: Insurance Claim Forms for a chain of jewellers. Problem: The jewellers asked the Print Management company to sort out a nightmare problem. Each insurance claim was generating 12 pieces of A4 paper, with an entire department chasing paperwork and trying to process claims efficiently. The process was out of control and very costly Solution: We designed a 7 part set for them, after several prototypes, which was numbered, personalised to each branch and contained a built-in glued pocket to contain all the loose paperwork. |
Client: Direct Mail Broker Job: Charity mailing campaign – 182,306 Problem: the mailing had five different stationery types, 16 changing lettertexts, plus 12 files to be de-duped hierarchically within in each segment and then against each segment, then to be run against MPS, Mortascreen, GAS (gone aways) and the Bereavement Register leaving a final record count of 182,306 Solution: With a bunch of software to carry out the data processing, two high-speed laser printers and two finishing lines, we can tackle any direct mail work. After we had printed, lasered, folded and enclosed the mailing, we were used as the return mailing address so that all undelivered mail could be analysed against initial cold lists. |
